The May 2013 Mobile Monday Nigeria Event [Recap]

The May 2013 Edition of  Mobile Monday Nigeria focused on Big Data and its benefits to Nigerian Businesses. It was also the first time we used our new venue. Yes, we are now at the E-Learning Centre, Odunlami Street, Lagos Island. It was an insightful event that helped to showcase the benefits of Big Data to attendees.

First up was OpenApps. OpenApps ( http://www.openapps.com.ng ) aims to become a key source of analytics data for website owners. According to its website OpenApps is a market intelligence system that aggregates Internet users behavior from multiple high traffic sources to support the development of intuitive digital services in Nigeria. This behavioral data allows designers, website owners to know what platforms are being utilized the most and also what medium is being used to access the websites that are members of OpenApps.
