In October, we had Rancard Mobility as our sponsors. Mobile Monday Nigeria event started off with Mayowa Owolabi introducing the speakers to the audience. He also gave a very brief overview of Mobile Monday and then brought up the speaker from Rancard Mobility.

The speaker from Rancard Mobility was no other than our very own Idemudia Dima-Okojie . He gave a presentation on how Mobile has come to be a dominant force in online advertising.

Also he emphasized on the opportunities available in Mobile especially in the area of Content Delivery. He used the case study of successful projects that had been implemented by Rancard for Google (GMail SMS), MTV Base, BBC News and many others.

After the Rancard Presentation, An App Presentation was made by Avoid Go Slow, a traffic monitoring website. It provides traffic data by crowd-sourcing traffic information from Twitter and other web sources, analyzing the content using pattern recognition algorithms and then classifying each piece of information based on the recognized patterns. Check out the App at AvoidGoSlow.
The event ended with the Networking segment. This is the most important part of the #momonigeria event. We bring the mobile community together.
We hope to see you at the next event.

It has really been a wonderful event, for the very first time I had the chance and opportunity to meet and network with my fellow developers in Nigeria.

I am currently developing in PHP & MYSQL But planning to start Android development by January 2013.

We will be successful in our endeavours by the special grace of God.
