Lagos 24th June, 2013: After several weeks of planning with VConnect Global Services (Operators of VConnect.com), the Mobile Monday Nigeria #momohackathon went underway at the E-Learning Centre, Odunlami Street, CMS, Lagos (which is the new home of Mobile Monday Nigeria’s events) on the 24th of June, 2013 with Developers, Designers, members of the press, staff of both Mobile Monday Nigeria and VConnect present to witness the event as it happened.
The theme of the event was “Entertainment Now” and the aim was to develop a Movie Listing Mobile Web Application using ASP .NET or PHP as the programming environment and Microsoft SQL as the database application.
As early as 8am, some members of Mobile Monday Nigeria team were already at the venue to welcome the participants (both developers and designers) as they made their way to their various teams to compete for the prizes available.
